Ryan has used Discord for roughly ten years. What began as a hobby—building bots, improving servers and experimenting with community systems—grew into production work as the projects became more serious and development became part of earning a living.
In 2025, after discovering Lands of Jail as a player, Ryan rebuilt major parts of its Discord when the community was around 9,000 members. That work expanded into server architecture, permissions, staffing structures and custom automation. The community later grew beyond 215,000 members.
Ryan later discovered Top Force as a player as well and now publicly develops and maintains its Discord infrastructure and custom bot ecosystem.
